Kellogg debuts Hi! Happy Inside cereal brand

Leveraging the massive trend of digestive wellness, the Kellogg Co has introduced Hi! Happy Inside, a new brand geared toward consumers in search of better health.

The brand initially will include three cereal varieties that are marketed as a “3-in-1 cereal,” featuring prebiotics, probiotics and fibre. Kellogg said Hi! Happy Inside delivers 1 billion CFU (colony forming units) live probiotics from active strains, contains 2.5 grams of prebiotics and has 8 to 9 grams of fibre.

The cereals are available in coconut crunch, blueberry and strawberry, and come in 34.5-oz resealable bags sold at Costco and six count cups available on Amazon. Individual cups will be available nationwide beginning in early 2019, Kellogg said.

“Hi! Happy Inside is a delicious cereal with three powerful ingredients to support digestive wellness,” said Aleta Chase, marketing director for Hi! Happy Inside.

“This new cereal provides a proactive real food solution to people who want to incorporate more prebiotics and probiotics into their diet.”

Hi! Happy Inside was developed at WK Kellogg Institute for Food & Nutrition Research, a global community of food researchers, designers and makers at Kellogg Co.
