19 Nov 2015 Winning food packs in SA’s 2015 ‘Packaging Oscars’
The IPSA Gold Pack Awards is the biennial showcase for the South African packaging industry and from its inception in 1973 it has grown into an event of considerable importance and prestige. The 2015 awards were recently presented in Jo’burg… with several food products among them.
SOUTH Africa’s first digital print on laminated tubes, elaborate and striking decoration techniques for glass bottles, the ultimate convenience for on-the-go coffee cups, innovative carton designs to protect cakes on the move, packaging that’s helping to shift lower-income consumers from powdered to liquid detergents, gold-spangled gift tubes for sparkling wines, portable packs that keep beer colder for longer – all these concepts took gold medals in this year’s Gold Pack Awards.
