SIAL is a global food expo not to be missed!

The global food world will be gathering in Paris in October….

The world’s largest food business trade fair, SIAL Paris, will open its doors at the Parc des expositions Paris Nord Villepinte from October 19 to 23, 2024.

SIAL Paris is a must-attend event in the global food calendar. For instance, at the 2022 edition, exhibitors averaged making 200 contacts and top buyers declared over €50M in purchasing power.

The upcoming edition is set to be even more inspiring than before. SIAL is not only an exciting international food market, but also a unique opportunity for food and beverage industry players to reach a wide audience and indulge in the latest innovations across the various food and beverage activities – with more than 7,500 exhibitors and 400,000 exhibited products.

This year’s expo will be even more exceptional since it will celebrate the fair’s 60th anniversary, offering the industry’s professionals an opportunity to look back on six decades of game-changing innovations and, most importantly, to look forward to the future.

With 7,500 exhibitors from more than 130 countries expected and 75% international visitors, the 2024 edition of SIAL Paris promises to be THE big event for food industry players worldwide.

As for the most represented countries, France and Italy are neck and neck for pole position at this stage, with Italy leading by a short head in terms of surface area, accounting for no less than 16,000m2 of exhibition space.

China is back in force, having been absent from the previous edition due to the continuing restrictions on travel abroad, with already more than 6,000m2 of pavilions confirmed for 2024. Ukraine, although still impacted by the ongoing war situation, will be well and truly present at SIAL Paris this year.

India’s influence is growing, with a very strong showing this year. Africa will be prominently positioned and some of the exhibitors from the continent will be highlighted, their pavilions grouped together in a dedicated space in Hall 5a. The number of African countries represented at the upcoming edition is expected to be greater than in 2022.
