There is an exciting new packaging agency collaboration in town. For the first time in South Africa, brand owners have access to a high-calibre packaging and brand design skills combined with the renowned expertise of one of the country’s most highly-regarded packaging technologists and project managers.

Calibre Brand Solutions, with a reputation for arresting concept design that is focused on brand communication and is well known in the FMCG sector as the best finished art studio in Cape Town, has been joined by Ingrid Schoeman (left above), MD of her own consultancy, Packaging IS.

Schoeman has 25 years’ experience working with FMCG packaging and materials. She has worked as a project manager in development teams for several high-profile FMCG companies, and has an in-depth understanding of packaging components across the spectrum of applications, print technology, and labelling legislation.

Together, Ingrid and Angela Deary, longtime MD of Calibre Brand Solutions, offer a holistic brand and packaging design service – from conceptualisation to creation, implementation and delivery.

This dynamic team’s focus is to provide concepts that can be executed, advice about component sourcing, and to deliver compliant on-pack and marketing copy, and finished art that requires minimum repro before press.
