This seminar, hosted by one of SA’s foremost microbiologists, Prof Lucia Anelich, is designed to provide an update on Listeria with a focus on practical aspects of Listeria monocytogenes in food.

Presentations from national and international experts will include insights into proposed new legislation, perceived vs real risks, the significance of L monocytogenes on fresh fruit and raw meat and poultry, managing the organism in a food manufacturing plant where it is indeed a risk, understanding its presence in RTE foods in South Africa, risk assessments and more.
