Why food scientists are awesome
Incredulously, food science and technology are looked upon by many as something suspicious, if not evil and toxic, by large swathes of ignorant and misinformed consumers – an attitude subtly, or not so, promoted by food activists and all too many food marketers. The truth is that they are disciplines that make the modern world go round.
