Safari Fruit Treats

New fruity confectionery range from Safari

Safari has launched a new fruity confectionary range – at home, after dinner or in lunch boxes, they are delicacies guaranteed to indulge any sweet-tooth’s craving.

This new exotic range of Safari FruitTemptations bite-size treats contain 50% fruit and are available in two variants, Tangy Apricot and Pineapple. They are high in fibre and naturally low in fat.

Safari Fruit Truffles are decadent pear and chocolate nibbles covered with real milk chocolate flakes, combining the best of both.  They are a source of fibre and naturally low in fat.

The packaging was designed by Barry Michaels from BMFA and Afripack in Paarl did the printing. The range is available in a case configuration of 20 x 150g, with a shelf life of 7 months. The range will be available from leading supermarkets countrywide from June 2012 at a retail price of approximately R 13.99 for the Fruit Temptations and R 18.99 for the Fruit Truffles.

Safari Dried Fruit is a brand of Bokomo Foods, a division of Pioneer Foods. The traditional dried fruit range is produced in Worcester and includes favourites such as dried apples, apricots pears, prunes, mixed fruits, and fruit dainty sweets.
