Global new look and feel for Cadbury Dairy Milk

Cadbury South Africa has introduced a bold new look for its iconic Dairy Milk, consistent with the brand’s global identity. The iconic brand, which is produced in four continents and sold in over 30 countries worldwide, will now have one recognisable look throughout the world.

The new packaging not only has a new look, but also a new feel. For the first time in South Africa, Cadbury Dairy Milk’s packaging will now be printed with a matt finish adding a sleek silky-smooth feeling.

The new look follows Cadbury’s launch of A Glass and a Half Full Productions in 2009 which included a full 360 degree campaign supported by the award-winning Gorilla TV commercial. The campaign was aired in several countries around the world and achieved a record 10 million online viewings.

“The brand’s new look celebrates and brings new life to the Cadbury glass and a half icon, simultaneously entrenching the authenticity of the brand and capturing the timeless classic style of Cadbury Dairy Milk,” says Greg Banach, Cadbury Category Leader: Chocolate, Southern Hub.

This new look will be seen in stores nationwide from April 2010.
