Gants has launched Gants Chunky Chicken, a range of canned, value-added chicken breast, some interesting innovation in the canned sector and believed to be a first for a local manufacturer.

Gants’ press release says: “Chicken is a part of the South African diet and now we’re making this ingredient easily accessible in four mouth-watering variants – In Brine with lemon, spicy apricot, Thai sweet chilli and tangy flavoured mayonnaise. Gants Chunky Chicken is a healthy lunchtime meal and snack conveniently packaged in a 210g pull tag tin.

“Gants Chunky Chicken is low in fat, a great alternative to traditional tinned products, proudly South African and Halaal. The product is tasty, versatile and value for money. It is ideal for people who are concerned about health and well-being and who prefer to prepare fresh, wholesome meals.
