Bonaqua gets a makeover
Bonaqua, the bottled water brand of The Coca-Cola Company South Africa, has a stylish new look featuring a revitalised logo and an eye-catching label design in a new lightweighted bottle.
Linda Appie, senior brand manager for Bonaqua explains: “Bonaqua has revitalised its look to keep in line with market trends and consumer feedback. We went with bold colours to drive excitement and allow for shelf-stand out. We feel that this new design is daring, bold and funky, just like Bonaqua.”
She notes that the change is in line with international environmental packaging trends which indicate a shift towards using less PET per bottle.
“Everything else about the product remains the same: from the same stringent production processes to the high quality standards of The Coca-Cola Company. The product retains its great taste. This is the same Bonaqua that consumers know and love,” she says.
Bonaqua goes through a seven-step purification process after which flavour and carbonation is added.
The new-look Bonaqua will be available in the traditional 500ml and 1.5 litre bottles – across its still and sparkling flavoured water ranges.
Bonaqua is available in a plain still/unflavoured variant as well as five flavours: Litchi, Naartjie, Strawberry, Apple Mint and Lemon Lime.
