FACTS SA Food Labelling Course

SA food labelling regulations? Cystal clear with FACTS’ online course

FACTS (Food & Allergy Consulting & Testing Services) has been successfully hosting annual workshops on South Africa’s food labelling regulations – and this year, no surprise, they are moving it online.

About:

Often focus is placed on R146 (regulations relating to the labelling and advertising of foodstuffs), but there are many other regulations that also have implications on the labelling of a food.

In late August/early September, FACTS is hosting a four-day online workshop (divided into two parts of two sessions each) with the aim to provide an in-depth understanding of all the relevant regulations relating to the labelling of foods in South Africa.

If you register before 20 August, for the same fee you will get a “party pack” delivered with useful ‘tools and goodies’.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Detailed sessions to understand the application of R146.
  • Overview of additives and other essential regulations.
  • Understanding the South African regulatory system and how to apply it.
  • A stepwise approach to checking your labels for compliance to all regulations applicable.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • Food Scientists
  • Food Quality Managers
  • NPD
