The range also includes flavoured milks such as Steri Stumpie, a delicious range of yoghurts and long life milks, as well as butter, ice cream, cream and fruit juice. In addition, Parmalat SA distributes ranges of milk specially formulated for children, and for people who are lactose intolerant.

Parmalat was the winner of the “Product of the Year” prize at the 2017 SA Dairy Championships. The winning product is a 10-month Matured Gouda, an aromatic and full-flavoured cheese produced for Woolworths.
Parmalat also excelled in the rest of the 2017 competition by winning an unrivalled four Qualité Mark of Excellence awards and 11 SA Champion prizes. Parmalat’s four Qualité awards are for Président Matured Gouda, Parmalat Matured Cheddar, the Matured Gouda produced for Woolworths and a Vintage Cheddar also produced for Woolworths.
Apart from its South African operations, Parmalat also has manufacturing, sales and marketing operations in Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia and Swaziland, doing business under the Parmalat Africa umbrella.
Parmalat SA and Parmalat Africa form part of the French international dairy company Lactalis. The Lactalis Groupe is the dairy world’s best all-rounder and employs more than 75 000 people in 85 countries, collecting 18,3=billion litres of milk, making it the world’s third-largest milk collector after Fonterra and Dean Foods, and the largest milk collector in France.
