Creating the most unhealthy foods – a massive YouTube hit!

It’s the perfect antidote for our diet-obsessed culture – a food show celebrating everything we shouldn’t eat, but secretly wish we could. And it’s taking YouTube by storm – one of the Epic Meal Time videos has more than 14 million views! The show features host Harley Morenstein and his friends who create the most unhealthy meals imaginable.

Their creations including lasagne stuffed with 45 burgers, a pizza with whole hamburgers as toppings and a 79 000 calorie Thanksgiving feast made from five different birds, stuffed inside a pig and smothered in bacon (see the video below).

Each week the group compete to make, and eat, the most unhealthy food – using as many artery-clogging ingredients as they can dream up.

In one episode they produced a tower of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, deep friend and stuffed with jars of Nutella.

Morenstein, a 26-year-old substitute teacher from Montreal, Canada, came up with the idea for Epic Meal Time after deciding there was a gap in the market for a show that focused on the fun side of food.

He claims each show costs $1,000 to make – but he covers the costs through internet advertising and a thriving business selling merchandise to Epic Meal Time’s growing number of enthusiastic fans.
