BAKER'S BETTASNACK RANGE The
cartons for the BettaSnack range, produced at Bakers Westmead
facility, have a new look. They're now printed by Shave & Gibson on a
KBA press using Coates inks and a matt/gloss UV coating combination to
enhance the graphics and resultant on-shelf appeal.
What's
special about this carton is the substrate on which its printed.
Imported from Brazil, it's a high-quality, coated unbleached kraft
paperboard, with low-density, high-yield characteristics that provide
outstanding strength and durability, together with superior printing and
converting performance owing to exceptional smoothness and consistency.
Its three-ply structure utilises less fibre for any given caliper,
generating more cartons per ton. Yield advantage and source reduction
make it an efficient and cost-effective packaging option. NESCAFÉ GOLD Nestlé's
flagship powdered coffee was introduced in Switzerland in 1938, having
been developed over the previous seven years by Max Morgenthaler and
Vernon Chapman. Today the global coffee market is fragile, subject to
regular price fluctuations, particularly affecting small coffee bean
farmers. Aware of this, Nestlé agronomists train and advise farmers in
modern methods, in order to lower their production costs, improve
earnings and increase skills, thus ensuring a sustainable supply of
high-quality coffee. Using an outdoor campaign imported from France, the
exquisite rich aroma and refined taste of Nescafé Gold is promoted via
brilliant billboards. It's an interesting and creative way of
communicating prompting viewers to comprehend the distinctive aroma of
the imported Nescafé Gold range.
FRANKS BRADYLICIOUS RANGE Like
many Welshmen, Frank Smith came from mining stock; and he served his
apprenticeship as a baker and confectioner. Arriving in South Africa in
1974, he worked with corporate baking and milling companies, leaving that
environment in 1992 to open a bakery in KZN manufacturing solely for
Woolworths. Meantime, South African Glenda McCleary had been residing in
Seattle, Washington, for more than 20 years and yearned to return to
her family in South Africa. Glenda ran a very successful muffin
business in the US, one of her major customers being the Hilton hotel
group.
Muffins America, trading as Frank Brady Products,
was formed in 1998 by Glenda McCleary and Frank Smith, and Glenda's
formulations are still the cornerstone of the Frank Brady range. But the
quest for innovative products never ceases! The new Bradylicious
variants include Caramel Toffee Cake, Hazelnut Praline Brownie, Lemon
Drizzle Cake, Cappuccino Cake and Double Chocolate Brownie. ACF Labels:
